Bajaj had launched the Pulsar 220 S dtsi as an upgrade to its famous "Pulsar 200 dtsi", the company had decided to put the tried and tested 220cc engine of "Pulsar 220 dtsi" in the existing "Pulsar 200 dtsi". The bike was having disc brakes at both the wheels and bigger wider 120/80 x 17 rear tyre.
